Dr. Mark LaBeau D.O.
Dr. LaBeau has been practicing medicine for over 25 years. He had a successful Family Practice in Chicago where he incorporated nutrition, musculoskeletal therapy and acupuncture. Additionally, he taught musculoskeletal medicine at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.
In 1995, Dr. LaBeau along with his wife Terri, sons Jeffrey and Scott relocated to San Diego. For the next ten years he was Medical Director at the Livingston Foundation Medical Center. This center was founded upon the visionary work of Virginia Livingston M.D. who used immunotherapy, nutritional supplements and a vegetarian who food diet as supportive therapy for patients with cancer and auto-immune diseases.
Dr. LaBeau joined the staff at the Center for Advanced Medicine in 2004. he established a Family Practice incorporating his medical, Osteopathic musculoskeletal and acupuncture skills to our Center for a total integrative approach. In this way, if you have a sinus or ear infection you can be treated structurally along with acupuncture to aid your circulation and given nutritional supplements to boost your immune system. If warranted, an antibiotic prescription can be given to be filled if you do not see improvement in 24 hours.
With reoccurring infections, a team approach such as treating allergies, comprehensive Osteopathic/Chiropractic therapy and/or supportive IV minerals and vitamins can be used to “get at the root of the problem.” This is “Health Care” as it should be!
If you catch Dr. LaBeau out of the office, you might see him on the beach or at church with his family. You might also hear him on “Health Talk – a Second Opinion” with Dr. Kellas.
He has a particular passion for helping patients successfully make the necessary dietary and lifestyle changes that will lead one to optimal health.
